OUR STORY
We first fell in love with St. John during our honeymoon. We were married in St. Thomas and rented a villa on Rendezvous Bay on St. John for our honeymoon. At that time, the paved road stopped shortly after the Westin and we had to venture out onto the dirt roads. We loved the views, the beaches, and the relatively uninhabited island.
We spent the next 15 years exploring various Caribbean destinations of Grand Cayman, Belize, Mayan Riviera and the British Virgin Islands. It was while on a sailboat vacation of the BVIs, that we spent some time on St. John again - and again our love for the island was rekindled.

Now getting closer to retirement, we decide to invest in our dream of one day sailing the Caribbean. St. John will be a perfect home base and the proximity of the villa to Great Cruz Bay, an ideal location on the island!
We selected our new vacation home for it's location (close to town and the bay) and for it's number of accommodations (10). We hope to spend some great vacations with family and friends, when we aren't sharing it with our rental guests!
We have renamed our home "Villa Solare" which, in Italian, means "Sunlight".
